Gorgeous design with spacious rooms
Every corner of the Ace Kyoto has been beautifully designed. Check in was smooth and easy and the team shared maps full of local recommendations for where to eat nearby. The front desk generously arranged our taxis every morning for exploring. There’s a shopping atrium attached to the hotel that was perfect for browsing during a rainy afternoon. Our room was gorgeous and the shower was 10/10. We never had to wait for an elevator and the breakfast offerings were varied and delicious, especially the French toast. The stay far exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic hotel in Kyoto
Great hotel in the middle of Kyoto. Right by a subway line. The quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Excellent front desk that helped with all of our needs. The lobby has a fun hip vibe that is similar to other Ace Hotels. Great Stumptown coffee in the lobby as well. Will definitely stay again!

The ACE in Kyoto was possibly the finest hotel I’ve ever experienced. Beautifully decorated, quality construction, elegant rooms, attentive staff, and even interesting programming in the lobby meeting space. Oh and the pajamas were sublime — I wish I could afford a pair!

This property exceeded all expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff at the property were attentive, personable, and always helpful. And everyone smiled a lot. The restaurants were perfect and the food abide par. I highly recommend the Kyoto Ace Hotel.
