Amazing eco themed hotel with extremely helpful and polite staff, in an excellent location close to shopping, restaurants, Nishiki Market and walking distance to a children’s playground, coin laundry, metro and Gion district. The Buffet Breakfast is amazing with extra efforts such as home made butters and freshly shaved cured meats in addition to the usual continental buffets expectations at good hotels. The staff even upgraded our room to a huge room which was great for our 3 year old to have some space to play. This was our second stay here having stayed once previously in smaller room. We will definitely return for a third time when next in Kyoto.

The hotel aesthetic is beautiful. The decor is natural and organic materials with a clean minimalist style. I was greeted by kind and professional staff who were very accommodating to any inquiries or concerns I had. The hotel was in the perfect location to reach all parts of the city and plenty of restaurants near by. The rooms are very clean and staff was very helpful. We had the breakfast and it was a wonderful buffet layout. There is a market on the first floor with a variety of local products. The desserts in the second floor cafe is a must try. Highly recommend this hotel.
