This hotel was tucked into a side street but by far had the best free amenities of our trip! The room was small but completely adequate for our needs and the staff was very nice. Great walk ability to any transit, and close to Tokyo station.

Located at the center of all shopping streets. Hotel provided clean towels and water even without room cleaning. Decent size room for Japan. Buffet breakfast had good choices from breads, fruits, to local fair. Location: Very busy area with a lot of people. Convenient to take city buses in multiple directions as well as a short walk to access to 3 subway lines.

Loved this hotel, super convenient location close to plenty of food, shopping, and tourist attractions. The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel had everything I need, no more no less. Very thoughtful design and amenities without being over the top. Would stay there again.

The Musse hotel is in a fabulous area that’s easily walkable to key areas of interest or subway lines. This does make the evening noice a little louder since it’s off of a main road in downtown Kyoto. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast buffet as it’s a little over priced for what you get.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was convenient and easy to find! What could be helpful in the future are bus directions from Kyoto station--we couldn't figure it out and had to take a taxi. But excellent overall!

Hotel is in a lively shopping street with easy access to the metro and the fantastic Gion area with its lovely old town shops, and eateries. The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful. It might benefit from additional laundry facilities as it has 2 machines which we found to be almost constantly in use, but minor issue. The Onsen was marvellous and the room couldn’t be faulted. A great stay.

Great hotel in the heart of Gion. Walkable to just about everything, or a quick walk to a train to everything else. Hotel was clean, staff was kind, amenities available as needed. Only thing to note is that the laundry machines on the 6th floor have a hard time drying well, so we left with some damp luggage. Not a huge deal but worth a call out if you need to do laundry on your trip.
