Rooms are a little small but should be fine if youre traveling light. Property and rooms were really clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is really close to train station and has a bus stop almost right outside the door.

The Japanese bath was the highlight of my stay. What a treat! The front desk staff was exceptional gracious - I totally miscalulated my arrival date (forgot about the time change) and ended up missing my original check in date. But they said don't worry, let's get you checked in so you can rest (it was obvious I was exhausted and jet lagged) and the next day they adjusted my stay accordingly. The room was much bigger than expected. Every thing was clean and comfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Not alot going on in the immediate area but we liked that. The onsen was great after a long day. Walkable to the older areas. The room was quite tight but good value. Definitely stay again.

The hotel is definitely too small for traveler that carries large luggage. To climb to bed over someone is not ideal to me. The lounge is small and the smoke room is next to the elevator, which is a minus point. The dining area hour is scheduled, it could be more useful if the public hour can be extended.

The room was only large enough to fit a bed. For the price, there are much better options around. Also, they store checked luggage literally by the front door with no security or effort for safe keeping. Except for the above, I have no other concerns.
