Great views of Tokyo tower

Unexpected expenses above the hotel

This hotel was expensive and we booked for 2 adults and a child. We were not given bedding for the pull out sofa for our son and when we requested linen and a towel we were told that would be a further 9700 yen per night. When we went to use the gym or pool that was also further costs and our 14 year old son could not use this outside the hours on 7-9am. Completely inflexible and not worth the money. Part of my choice for the hotel was the amenities, very disappointed

This is our favorite hotel in Kyoto. I love the club lounge and the wonderful staff there. Food is delicious and wine and other cocktails very good.

Super convenient location，inside railroad station，bus hub right outside. room is very clean and size is ok. booked superior twin room but given a room in the end of hall way，farthest from elevator，about 50 meters walk regardless my mother is 80 years old. After checking with mnager，later agree to switch a room close to elevator. overall experience is good.

I’ve stayed at the Granvia since 2009–four visits in all. It’s still a good hotel but the furniture in the room looks old and tired, and the bathroom is dated. Putting the washlet controls on the sink cabinet was the worst idea ever—every time I leaned forward to put on makeup the controls were activated. And the step up from the bathroom is a tripping hazard

Nice large lobby but in need of refurbishing. Bellhops extremely helpful. Right in train station which is nice but Namba is large so it’s easy to get lost anyway. I think I’m retrospect I would have stayed in Gion. Room was adequate. Nice mouthwash touch
