Our stay at this hotel in Kyoto was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure our family felt comfortable and welcome. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed after long days exploring the city. My kids especially loved how peaceful and quiet it was—we all slept so well! The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with both Japanese and Western options that made our mornings even better. We also appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the warm hospitality, attention to detail, and the overall calm atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

Perfect Stay at Kyoto Brighton Hotel Everything about this hotel was good! The staff provided outstanding service — very polite, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was challenged — we had to get a taxi to get to the metro and train stations, but the hotel made reservations so we can get in our tour on time.

방이 넓고 침구류가 편해서 잠을 잘 잘 수 있었다. 욕조가 있어 피곤한 하루를 마무리하는 데 많은 도움이 되었다. 조식은 일본정식이 맛있었고 정갈했고 조식부페는 음식 종류가 많지 않아서 아쉬웠지만 맛이 있었다. 근처 지하철역까지 셔틀버스가 있어서 자주 이용했다. 만족스러운 숙소였다.

The hotel is lovely and staff very friendly. It is in a quiet area with a few places to eat. There is a restaurant which we didn't try. There is a free shuttle bus to and from a subway station which was really useful as the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway stop.

From the moment I stepped onto the premises, the Kyoto Brighton Hotel was a beautiful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed, plus lovely little surprises including a spray to freshen up my travel clothes, and a kit for preparing my own matcha. I ate at the onsite restaurant, which was delicious and had great value. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The room was a good size with a king bed. The bathroom was large with a great walk in shower and bath. It was next to the imperial palace and park which was great to walk in. The hotel was in a quiet area on the outskirts of town.
