Beautiful hotel with lots of space for Japan only 5 minute drive away from Karasuma Oike Station with a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel to the station. Was in a quiet neighbourhood but with great local food options in the area. Great amenities in the hotel and very attentive service - would definitely stay here again!

娘と一泊させていただきました。 パブリックスペース、室内ともに町中とは思えないほど静かで驚きました。 落ち着ける時間がありがたかったです。 清掃も行き届いていて、特にバスタブやカランの形状がとても好みだったのでお風呂でも気持ちよく過ごしました。 そのバスルームにはくずもの入れが２つ分別用に設置されていて良かったのですが、なぜか室内用には見当たらず…あえてなのかもしれませんが少々不便に感じました。 室内には大小の鏡が壁面やデスクに備えられており、女子が複数人でもお互い遠慮なくストレスなく身支度できます。 くつろげる滞在でした。

Set in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. Lots of excellent dining options nearby. The staff were courtious and helpful. Both the Japanese and western breakfasts were top notch. An excellent place to stay.

Central location with the most helfpful shuttle ever - we used it so much! Concierge very good and the food in the main restaurant is excellent. Breakfast buffet is a must do but for dinner not great for vegetarians so my daughter ended up eating Ala carte most nights. Lovely staff.

We had a great time staying at the Brighton Hotel..staff were friendly especially the concierge desk they offered help before we asked! The room is clean & spacious, very well layout. Well come back!

I can’t really leave a great review since I was not welcomed when I arrived. I made the reservation with a queen size bed in a room that had a guest couch sleeping option. My traveling group of 3. When I booked it stated to house 3 to 4 people , but when I arrived they shut me down and said only 2 can stay I asked why ? They couldn’t give me a reason I even offered to sleep on the floor and they said no. Even though on their website they state that I can ask for a bed cot for the floor . It was 8pm and they wanted me to book a last minute separate room for myself at a total price of $600 US dollars . It was ridiculous and I was so frustrated. I ended up leaving the room to the other 2 people I was traveling with and I had to walk to a nearby hotel and hope that they had a rom available at a reasonable rate and they did . If not I do not know where I would have ended up . Japan has been amazing but this Brighton Hotel has been the only negative experience they really didn’t seem to care about me even though I had paid a hefty price already .

The Kyoto Brighton Hotel offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and provide a luxurious feel, making them a highlight of the stay. Despite its corporate and somewhat business-like atmosphere, the hotel maintains high standards of service and amenities. Breakfast is satisfying with a decent selection, though nothing particularly standout, but it adds to the overall good value for money. The hotel’s location is convenient, being close to the Imperial Palace, providing easy access to key attractions in Kyoto while still offering a peaceful retreat from the busier parts of the city.
