Convenient hotel within minutes walk to the Kyoto train station. Would have given five stars if had room service and more varied tv stations. Staff very nice and really liked the ability to forward and receive luggage from this hotel.

Convenient for the station

The hotel was right next door to the main station so was perfectly situated in our opinion. The access was via an escalator and the reception was by the main restaurant and bars. The staff are very attentive and made checking in a simple and quick job. The room we had was lovely, quiet and not overlooked at all.

Great Location

Super convenient location to the Kyoto Station. Comfortable room with great shower and tub. The hotel caters to a lot of European groups, so there was always a long line for the buffet breakfast. We did not opt to include breakfast as there are almost endless options and choices at the nearby station and surrounding area.

We loved the convenience of this hotel being across the street from Kyoto Station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. We didn't enjoy how small and cramped the room was. The ceiling is low in several places which wasn't ideal for my fiancé. There is a large step up into the shower room and a step up into the toilet room. The lighting in the bathroom was not helpful for makeup.

The property is such a short walk from Kyoto Station that I have trouble justifying staying anywhere else. With the station's dining options via iSetan & Porta and convenient access to the JR central gate, staying here is truly convenient.

This is the place to stay in Kyoto !

A little bit of home in Kyoto. We have stayed at this property multiple times and every time was great. It’s also in a fantastic location. Easy access to everything. Shopping and restaurants are all close by.

Comfortable

Registration process used is unnecessarily time consuming. The hotel staff are friendly and pleasant, but most only have a rudimentary understanding of English. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. The bedroom was on the small side, especially around the bed. There are no English language tv channels- in particular, no BBC or CNN news channel which I find a little poor.

Great location, clean, friendly and helpful staff

Location couldn’t get any better, right next to the Kyoto station, surrounded by food and shopping options. Hotel was clean, staff were so helpful. We were confused about the Kyoto station on our first day, and we were in a hurry to get to our meeting place for our tour, so we walked back to the hotel to ask for directions, but rather than just drawing us a map, the gentleman host at the hotel restaurant physically showed us the way by walking us through the Kyoto station. I wished I got his name, to thank him again . That’s what I call superior customer service.
