I lve the hotel cleanliness and how quiet it was. It was also in a very convenient location, close to the market and shopping strip, as well as train station/bus stop. The only negative thing about this hotel is the airconditioning does not allow you to go lower than 20C. It extremely hot when we went and the AC wasn’t sufficient

This is our second time staying at this hotel. As always, amazing rooms, fantastic staff and great location! The smell of the incense as you walk in is so calming and inviting. The hotel is located close to the subway. There are amazing food and shopping options that are all walkable. I definitely recommend this property and will be back the next time we are in Kyoto.

This is a good hotel. However, there was one big issue. The air conditioning did not go below 20C/68F. I dont know why hotels are doing this. They think they are saving money but the only thing I look at when looking at reviews is whether the AC is good. I had a horrible night sleep because it was just too hot. I would not have stayed here again, sadly. Everything else was great, but that one thing is a no for me.
