We had 2 rooms and we love the property. It’s new and it’s walkable to the major sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked one room with a washer and dryer (2 in 1) and it was so convenient.

Excellent hotel very central in Kyoto. Recently renovated and sparkling clean. The hotel is very stylish and calm. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The onsen was fabulous and relaxing with a real spa feel. There are two onsens (men/women) so accessible at all times during the opening hours, unlike many other hotels in Japan which alternate the times that men and women can use the onsen. There is also a small but well equipped gym on the same floor as yhe onsen. We had some drinks at the bar - very good cocktails! Thoroughly recommend this hotel and would choose to come back again in the future.

The Mitsua Garden Hotel was amazing. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. It’s also within walking distance to many attractions/markets/restaurants. My fiancé and I throughly enjoyed our stay and will for sure be staying again in the future. I highly recommend staying here

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel - the room was spacious with a lovely bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable. It’s in easy walking distance to Nishiki Market, shopping, and multiple subway stations. Staff were lovely and it was nice to have some good pasta at the restaurant. The atmosphere of the hotel was great - very relaxing after a day out sightseeing.

An excellent stay. Large room. Comfortable bed. Kind staff. Clean. Close to a train station and some delicious restaurants. Nearby beautiful stores. Perfect for my family of 3 with a young one. The onsen was wonderful. And the gardens made for a peaceful experience overall. We will be happy to stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel was very conveniently located in walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and public transportation. It was new and clean and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and very quick. My room had a washer/dryer and really deep soaking tub. They also had a public bath in the basement.

It’s absolutely amazing and one of the best hotels I’ve been to. Definitely I’m coming back here next year with my family. I’m still in the hotel for two more days and I can’t say enough about it. Location is PERFECT everything is around within less than 10min walk (6min). Staff are so welcoming, helpful and even so friendly. The room itself is super amazing mine had washer and it’s great add on as I came from Tokyo with dirty clothes. Lighting is so great and the bathroom is so comfortable. One thing about the room that I don’t like much is the pillows aren’t comfortable at all but it’s definitely not something to void but they should improve it for sure. Check in process was timeless and effortless. Check in start at 3pm but I came early at 11am and my room was ready so it took me about 5min the moment I step in till I got into the room. Another thing to improve, please add Nespresso coffee machines in the room because there isn’t any coffee machine but they provide coffee pocket which I hate. For sure, I’ll be always coming back here whenever I visit Kyoto.
