We loved our stay! Hotel was clean, and in a safe quiet area of town. The staff was accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! So happy we chose to stay here for our trip to Kyoto.

Got put on the first floor which is essentially a basement because you walk down a ramp to get into their lobby, likely to maximize the real estate. The air in my room was damp and thick, just overall gross. The bathroom smelled like urine and the mattress has a couple of hairs before I even got under. I felt dirty the entire time I was there.

The walk to either the Shijo Dori or Kyoto stations is a little long however there is a bus stop within a couple mins walk which is also near a Lawson convenience store.
