Amazing! The best hotel we stayed at in Japan. Spacious and cozy. The bed is unbelievably comfortable with a comfy duvet and good pillows. Great layout. Toiletries provided including soaps, razor, toothbrushes, q tips, etc. would definitely recommend!!

We booked a standard twin room, and it was very good. We know hotels in Japan are usually small, but this room was spacious. The place is very nice, clean and modern. There’s a laundry, you can see if it’s occupied from the TV -it’s always busy. But across the street there’s a 24he laundry that saved me. It’s located a block from Kyoto station, and you can walk to many places from there. The area has restaurants, stores and cafes. In the front desk area, you can get coffee and soft drinks for free all day. That’s great, mostly when outside is cold and you want a warm coffee when arriving back.

Conveniently located close to Kyoto train station
Not only is the Rihga Gran just a short walk from Kyoto Station, but close to many interesting shopping complexes and scrumptious restaurants. Good sized rooms plus washing/drying machines, onsen/baths and a great buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money. Recommended.
