⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay in Kyoto was truly unforgettable, thanks to this wonderful hotel. The location was incredibly convenient — right next to public transport and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was spotless, modern, and comfortable, with everything we could possibly need. We especially appreciated the little touches like the yukata robes, green tea set, and quiet ambiance — perfect after a long day exploring the city. Breakfast was a highlight: a well-balanced selection of Japanese and Western options, beautifully presented and delicious. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto — whether for leisure or business. It felt like a true home away from home.

Kyoto sojourn

This hotel,is situated near the train station with a shuttle bus to transport guests to and fro. The rooms were more spacious than normal with a very comfortable bed and excellent linen. The staff were very courteous and polite. The breakfast bar had an excellent choice of dishes. The only downside was the wifi which was unreliable at times.

Staff spoke enough English and were helpful. Location was close to trains but a bit too far for lots of walkable areas. We were on a main route for business and school kids, so neat seeing all of them each morning on our way out. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good but more expensive. My girls loved the big pool and gift shop! Hotel shuttle was great.

The hotel was peaceful, and the rooms were a beautiful mix of western and japanese furniture/decor. The room was a generous size, which we appreciated. Breakfast options were plentiful. The fridge in the room needs attention; it needs to be adjusted to stand firmly. While the hotel was very well situated close to the station, the outlook was dull. We would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel - we stayed in a junior suite and it was certainly luxurious - especially after some of the more cramped rooms in other cities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only issue is that its quite far (40 minute walk) from the more main areas within Kyoto so a bit of a trek to the nicer restaurants and more bustling areas.

Kyoto stay

The hotel is close to the station which is good and the hotel has a shuttle bus that goes between the station and hotel. The room was more spacious than other Japanese hotel rooms and it was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with Western as well as Japanese choices.
