They serve a delicious breakfast buffet, unlike I’ve ever seen in a hotel. My group was 6 people total (family), but we were not allowed to sit together. They showed us a paper saying that we can only gather in groups of 4. Also, their restaurant only serves dinner, not lunch so we had to buy lunch outside. Many restaurants in the area could not accommodate 6 people so we brought food back to the hotel. We were asked to eat lunch in our room, even though there were empty chairs and tables in the main floor. Our room was tiny so ended up eating on the floor, on the bed and standing up. I would not come back.
This place was a real find. Boutique style, near the station but quite. We would happily stay here again. Rooms were great with balconies, lots of space. Good facilities with guest laundry, gym, traditional Japanese baths etc. Bar and restaurant were appreciated as were welcome drinks and nightly entertainment. The staff were very accomodating. We liked this place very much and would highly recommend it and we will return.

Sakura Terrace has the feel of a relaxing resort. A few upgrades will help, inclusing new linens and towels. The hotel offers washer and dryer but the machines are old and not too efficientt.
The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The room a/c was ineffective most nights. It didn’t cool the room down and I wasn’t able to sleep properly.
This was a great hotel for a weeklong stay in kyoto. The property is beautiful, the lounge is cool and the spa has some things (including massage chairs and workout equipment) that are somewhat rare in Japan.
We stayed at four hotels in Japan and this one was by far the best. I really loved having more space in the room and the terrace was great. Lots of amenities, including tea and coffee all day, massage chairs, nice onsen, good breakfast. Location a couple blocks from the main station was very convenient. If I ever find myself back in Kyoto I'll stay here again.
Convenient property close to the JR train station, 7-11, and a taxi stand within a few blocks. Nice amenities at this property like complimentary drinks all day and an evening welcome drink daily. Property also has on site massage chairs, washing machine and dryers, and public bath. Rooms are about average size for Kyoto. Our bathroom had mildew accumulated around the bathroom door which left a lingering odor in the room. Otherwise the room was nice.
The south building room with roof top access was excellent and spacious. The hotel is a 2min walk from Kyoto station so very accessible in terms of local transport. Staff were very attentive and we got to try the hotel's onsen too for free. Breakfast was fantastic and there was a lot of choice both of western and asian cuisine. Would definitely go back if returning to Kyoto.

This is a great hotel with a very short walk to the main station. The hotel itself is reasonably quiet but centrally located. The hotel does a lot of nice things such as 24 hour coffee bar and free welcome drinks nightly. The food looked good and was reasonably priced. They seemed to have music nightly also. They facilitated both an early check in and a fractionally late check out which I appreciated.
