This was a great starting point to explore Kyoto during our four-night stay. Just outside the most busy areas this was a quiet but walkable respite each evening. Good dining options are close by. We recommend the Sotetsu Fresa Inn.

We had great time at the hotel. Staffs were very responsive and helpful. The room is more spacious than expected and the subway/ bus stops at surrounding area makes it super easy to get around. Breakfast is also delicious. Highly recommended.

Staff was extremely nice, amenities were self serve so no unnecessary/wasted ones in our room, spacious room, bed extremely comfortable, decent breakfast buffet. Only minus was the cleanliness was lower than at other japanese hotels. The room's side tables were not well wiped down and were a little sticky along the sides. We also found a cockroach in our room our first day. Yes we had open snacks in the room, but we were on the 6th floor so it didn't come in off the street...

Great property, well located (just down from a metro stop) and good value for money. Room was large by japanese standards. Super safe and very comfortable with lots of natural light. Would definitely stay again.
