Hotel was great, service was very mixed. Some of the hotel staff were great, others found talking in English more difficult which made our experience a little more challenging. We had to revert to using google translate to ensure we understood.

Far off from the city but good area to be in

A bit far from kyoto station but they have a shuttle bus to take you to the hotel and back to the station. just gotta check with them to see the times it’s there. a good 20 min ride but great hotel to be in. It’s a 20 min bus ride to the main shopping area but it’s definitely peaceful where the location is at. near one train station 10 min walking. there’s a lawson across the street from the hotel and staff is very very friendly. the best thing i did like was the private onsen you can book for a cost and the customer service is on point. very helpful. room was great the bed was bigger than usual hotels i have stayed at. if you don’t mind the bus ride and back it’s a good hotel to be in. friendly staff and if you need your luggage shipped to airport or another hotel they have a service for it. A++
