THIS HOTEL LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES!!!! Do not stay here if you want to have a nice visit in Kyoto. I would only ever imagine saying here for business, but if you want to enjoy Kyoto, DO NOT STAY HERE.

I loved my stay at the Royal Park hotel. The location was perfect, walkable to many stores restaurants and train stations. The room was bigger than other ones I’ve stayed in so that was a plus. Can’t recommend it enough :)

Perfect location. Staff at the check in wasn’t good. The lady wasn’t welcoming at all and forgot to give us the breakfast vouchers. Didn’t bother to provide any information about the hotel. Didn’t offer any help or assistance. Breakfast was okay. Rooms are clean but super hot, cannot adjust the thermostat. All I can say since we go to the hotel only for the night to sleep.
