Excellent property! We had an unexpected stop with our 2 and 6 year old for the night. Staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel, rooms, pool and hot tub were clean and nice! We were very happy and would definitely recommend if you need an affordable place to stay for the night.

Couple visit to La Crosse area.

Wife had to call the desk at midnight because of the level of noise. Sign in entryway says 10 pm is quiet time. Didn't happen. No bath towels in room. Wife went to front desk for a towel and was given a bathmat?? Nice remodeled motel -- will give it one more chance. Not happy with this visit.

Cheap for a reason

There is no elevator. The rooms are okay the bathroom was dirty, caked dirt in the corners. We stayed at the Red Wing one the night before and it was so clean and comfortable. This was a complete opposite experience. Not all AmericInns are equal! Lesson learned.

How did this place have good reviews?

I’m not sure how this place had such good reviews, because the room we got had all kinds of deferred maintenance. The bathroom door didn’t latch/lock, barely even stayed closed at all (thankfully it was just my daughter and me). The shower had big holes in the surround where a bar was supposed to be, and it had clearly been gone for awhile because the holes looked all grimy and probably moldy inside the surround - who knows what the heck is inside that wall. The ceiling was dirty/moldy above the shower, the white shower curtain had a huge brown spot on it, the nightstand had a big gash in the top. We weren’t even there very long, just to sleep and shower, so there was probably more. I was just really unimpressed with the quality and cleanliness
