Very Good

Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a suite which was nice. Very close to many drinking establishments and restaurants. Across from the Civic Center. Front desk staff was fabulous.
The location was great and the bed was comfortable. But the hotel is very run down for the price we paid. There were no hangers in our closet, no do not disturb sign, stained tile, poor amenities in the room. Definitely was not worth over $200 a night.
The hallways smelled like curry, and the overall hotel is a bit rundown. There could be some minor repairs done to make it more appealing. We only saw a person at the desk one time, and the rest of the time there were instructions to go things in own.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Not sure if this is part of Holiday Inn? It’s connected to a Holiday Inn next door but no other “ branding” or signs of typical HI facility. Almost looked like it was sold off and took on a new name
Run down, smelly, filthy property, the LaCrosse Convention and Visitors Bureau should put pressure on this property to clean up their act as it’s right next to the Convention Facility.
The beds had two different comforters. The soap dispensers were empty.
The exercise room was a complete joke. The size of a closet. The pool was nowhere to be found. The restaurant was closed. The room down the hall had its door broken and left wide open all night. The person running the front desk was basically running everything by himself. It was so disappointing for what you charge! The elevators were filthy. There were so many things that were wrong it’s hard to name them all.
Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Room was clean a good value for cost. Room could use more lighting.
The hotel was a bit pricey for an aging hotel. There was no bar in the hotel. We and other guests had trouble getting the room keys to work and had to go back to the front desk to try again.

Used to be our go to place a few years ago. It's gone downhill fast. Change of ownership or management ruined it..
We were in town for the annual Irish Fest. We loved the location, and the fact that we had easy access to restaurants, the riverfront and the fairgrounds on foot. We were offered a large umbrella to use on a couple of rainy mornings. The actual hotel parking lot is very small, but there is a huge public lot right next door with hotel access. They provide a code that allows you to park for free.
