We had a nice stay here - not the best, but very good. Pros: location is excellent, atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing, close proximity to all La Digue attractions, helpful staff, beach chairs/cushions dedicated for guest use, nice porch, grounds maintenance is good, they replaced our bikes very quickly. Cons: charge for WiFi, no wire filter in coffee maker, charge for ferry transport (they have their own club cart, its not like you/they have to hire a driver), charge extra if you want to pay for incidentals by credit card, bathroom kind of gross (but mostly clean), noisy A/C unit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and Le Surmer is quite nice - not the best but very good and definitely worth the price.

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff
We had high expectations but where still positively surprised! The staff was amazing and really did their utmost to make our stay as fantastic as possible. The rooms where large, clean and nice! Breakfast was exellent and so was the location. Will definitely stay in this hotel next time we visit La Digue and we will come back for sure!

Like a tropical caravan site. Not for us, may be ok for others if you aren’t looking for comfort, don’t mind ants, the smell of old cigarette smoke and cold showers in the morning. The staff tried to provide customer service, but that only works if you have a decent product.

Location is perfect.
We loved the location of the place we stayed in. It’s right on the beach. Our only issue was with the lady who handled the front desk. Unfortunately we do not have her name. She essentially cheated us over a small amount of money. About 22 usd. If you eat at the facility, then you have to pay cash. So my mother and I had paid for 2 meals, 1 water bottle and 1 glass of wine. The lady started using a calculator to add our costs and ended up with 1052 rupee. So I paid it without question and then forgot the receipt. My mother later goes to the office to request a receipt from another fellow. He assessed that she put 700 rupee as what was paid by us. The money was so little to cheat us over. However, it’s the principle of how you treat your unknowing guests. My mother and I have felt that the people of Seychelles are sooooo harmless and kind, but this lady is an example that no where is perfect.

Eine sehr nette Unterkunft mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Allerdings befindet sich derzeit einen Großbaustelle auf der Anlage. Der eigentliche Strandabschnitt wird mit einem Restaurant, Pool und Spabereich bebaut, daher ist der Strandabschnitt schlecht bis gar nicht nutzbar. Expedia wurde über die Baumaßnahme informiert, hält es aber nicht für nötig die Kunden über die Baumaßnahme zu informieren.

Logement vieillot. Une climatisation qui fonctionne mal dans la chambre. Un ventilateur au plafond qui est bloqué sur la vitesse 1 dans le séjour. L’établissement s’agrandit et proposera un spa dans quelque temps, avec forcément une augmentation des tarifs. Espérons que la rénovation des logements est prévue.

La Digue is breathtaking! Our accommodation was conveniently located with a small beach just across the road, the manager Sager and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpfull. We even got to borrow the bikes for a few hours for free on our last day!
