Suwa Villa Arenal is one of the best places at which I have stayed! We had four guests and stayed for four nights in mid-March. Beautiful rooms with an outdoor patio and chairs, and A/C. Very clean and fully stocked communal kitchen, with a super cute and lush lounge area on the side. There are laundry machines available to use, with 2 free detergent pods provided. There was also a mini jacuzzi (temporarily cold water when we visited), and a fireplace for hanging out outside at night. Parking is easy and reserved for guests right in front of the entrance. The property was small in a nice, intimate way, and extremely private, safe, and quiet. The staff live on site, and are very friendly and easy to communicate with quickly. They provided us with delicious fresh coconut water upon arrival, and complimentary gourmet coffee each day. The hotel was also located in a convenient location in La Fortuna. Walking distance to the central park, (I recommend going there to watch the sun set behind the volcano!), and many, many restaurants & souvenir shops. There are a few grocery stores nearby, and we were able to use this place as a relaxing home base for all of our adventures around the volcano & hot springs. I almost thought this place was too good to be true when looking at the pictures, reviews, and price (we got it at a major discount), but I'm so glad we booked. It was a highlight of our trip. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations, and we would love to stay here again!

Lush beautiful little property

It’s a very cute small property. It has a shared kitchen and washers/dryers available for use. The room worked great for us. We got the room with the loft where the kids could sleep. They loved that. Our room also had a nice little patio area and all the landscaping was so lush and beautiful.

Most nicest and luxurious hotel in La Fortuna. The best location. Nice view of the Volcano.Staff was great, attentive and friendly. Hotel common areas and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely equipped to make your stay comfortable. Will definitely stay again when coming back to visit. Highly recommend.

We stayed at three different locations in Costa Rica and Suwa was by far the nicest. Lovely rooms, spacious for a couple. Laundry facilities are also top quality and the staff is friendly and readily available on Whatsapp. Walking distance to good restaurants and a very enjoyable sloth tour.

This is an absolutely beautiful villa inside & out. It is peaceful and feels secluded even though you’re in town. Staff is wonderful. They gave great recommendations for local restaurants & activities. Highly recommended!!

This is easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! Perfectly designed modern rooms with excellent amenities. Fabulous service too. Even welcomed us with fresh coconut water! Short walking distance to all the restaurants. I highly recommend this place. Raul and Karina were the most gracious hosts!
