The hotel is situated at one of the most beautiful beaches. The place seems to be stuck in time (I knew the hotel from back in the mid 80s), but I can say that bed and was very comfortable. Could do better with cleaning and staff should be trained in service - this includes the manager. Surprised that there was no coffee available at 6:00 am.

This hotel is terrible, overpriced, dirty, bad service and the reception desk does not provide any information whatsoever. It’s certainly not what it looks in the pictures. Don’t book it. You’ll regret it.

The property has potential. My favorite part was the outdoor layout of the pools and beachfront. There were plenty of gorgeous seashells on the beach. The waves were amazing n the water temp. was cool. However the hotel it self needs a massive makeover. Its very old and dingy looking. I also did not like that the facet water was not safe. It smells awful as well so wash your teeth with a bottle of water. I feel the stuff needs more training in hospitality.

Unfortunately, the front desk and restaurant staff were not friendly or welcoming during our stay. At check-in, there was no greeting or effort to make us feel welcomed. During our meals, the staff simply brought out the food without a smile, and no one asked if we needed anything else. Hospitality makes a big difference in a guest’s experience, and I expected more from a resort setting. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration and focuses on improving guest service in the future.

The propery seems to be upgrading and repairing some parts of the building, the rooms are good but they need some finish touch on the shower, The staff in the hotel is great, everyone is polite and friendly.

The staff was rather cold and aloof, not very helpful and poor customer service. When we sat down to eat we waited for about 20 minutes with no service before moving to a different location. Even then it took a very long time to get our food... The server at the second location did his best but didn't have enough help. Overall it took a little more than two hours from start to finish when we first sat down to when we finished our meal. By then their pools were only open for about fifteen more minutes before closing at 9:30. The hallways are open so as soon as you step of of your room you're hit with heat and humidity like a slap in the face. The outdoor showers were so full of dirt and sand it was impossible to have clean feet to walk back to the room causing us to have a lot of sand in our room. We had to "borrow" a broom and dustpan from a cleaning cart left out because there was no one else around. There's nothing nearby for late night food runs other than a vending machine. Check out is early...11:00am, giving you little time to enjoy the beach. You also overpay for the same typical breakfast you can get anywhere (beans and eggs). We chose this location b/c of a YouTube video but it's NOT worth wasting your time and money with it. I'd also strongly recommend that as a tourist resort it would help if someone on staff was bilingual or at least had a hand held translating device. When I couldn't understand what the staff was saying they gave up and walked away.
