The place needs work, but it served our purpose. The room was clean and the bathroom/shower worked. We just needed a place to sleep for a couple of nights. And as the old saying goes, "All rooms look the same when you're asleep."

We needed a place to stop for the night we were happy with this little place. Room was fresh and everything clean. It could use block out curtains but the light that came through the curtains did not bother us. Staff was very friendly and parking was great. I would stay here again.

I've stayed in a number of motels in Lamar over the years. And by far, this is the best one! Clean comfortable rooms, ice cold AC great staff. Easy parking and just blocks away from main street ,

This is a pretty old motel where they still use a normal key. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave which both worked. Internet service worked well and there were lots of electrical outlets to plug into. There was a table and chair for using my laptop. Breakfast isn't provided so plan accordingly. Didn't use the shower until the morning and found out absolutely no water came out. Both my wife and I tried. Using the bathroom sink had to let the hot water run a long time and it didn't get very hot. Other than the water issue if that was resolved if we were in the area again we would stay here.

I have been to quite a few hotels this trip. I honestly booked this one at the very last minute, as it was my only option along my route. I was nervous pulling in. The manager was so very nice. Showed me to the room. He made sure I knew how to reach him if I needed anything. I walked into the room and let me tell you, I was shocked. It was beautiful! The floors were new a beautiful grey. Large tv, refrigerator, and microwave. It was so clean and smelled so nice. Fresh sheets and blankets. Towels you'd buy for your home. Large shower with toiletries. The walls were decorated with beautiful pieces. It literally felt like I was staying in my friends guestroom. I humbly apologize and thank the Golden Arrow for the best stay i've had thus far. If i absolutely had to pick a negative.... it didn’t have a coffee pot in the room. It did however have one in the lobby!

Property may look at bit rough on the outside but do not let looks deceive you. Very clean rooms and very comfortable beds. I was throughly impressed and would recommend for the price point. Thanks for a great stay!!
