Decent

Beds were comfortable and staff was nice. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. They had some cereal, sausage and fried eggs, waffles but the syrup was out. Then some bread items. The refrigerator seemed to work half the time, we had to throw out some items. It was a devent stay.

Bathroom- death trap. Sink faucet sprayed everywhere. Toilet- moved and was not bolted to the floor. Shower- shower head trickled and the tub you were standing in didn’t drain. Bathroom by check in desk was filthy. Toilet paper dispenser was just hanging by one screw. Breakfast the following morning….. coffee was like mud and there were no lids to put on to carry back to the room so let’s burn the hand. Taste was terrible- very bitter. Landscaping and weeds everywhere. I paid 120.00 a night…. Really? It was not worth it. Take pride in your property people!

Check-in was quick and staff was friendly. The room was clean but door to hall allowed in a lot of noise. The overall decor of the common areas is very aged and in need of new carpet, paint and a loghting upgrade. Adjoining restaurant was being renovated which gave the place a runned down feel when I pulled up.

Location was doable distance to where we were going over weekend. When we got in room, there was dirty rags in tub and tv remote did not work. Attendant was amicable to get issue corrected. We were right by an elevator that did not work so had to go around facility to working one. I was surprised to see our charge was a little less than what was quoted on Expedia when we booked the room. Not updated but seemed like they are in process.

Staff was polite, but looks like the property has been under renovation for quite some time. Hot tub wasn’t working, pool didn’t look clean, restaurant and bar not open and looks like months before it would be. Also blood on the sheet when pulled back the comforter. Bed was probably made up, but she’s not clean from the previous occupant.

The young man, Nico that checked us in was great!! He handled our requests and concerns smoothly and quickly and correctly!! I grew up in this town and know that the hotel has been there for many years. My wedding night was there The hotel was under a bit of rehab so the restaurant and the bar were not open. It was ok because there is an abundance of restaurants to choose from. I want to acknowledge Nico and his unending great customer service!!!!!
