Would definitely stay again!

Evidently I booked a room on the 3rd floor with a shared bathroom and no elevator... upon seeing the horror on my face the proprietor immediately moved us to a private cabin without a change in charges. She really made a great impression on us! The cabin was clean and lovely. We had a small screened porch and a well stocked kitchenette. Each cabin has adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a grill. There are lots of little alcoves and seating areas on the grounds overlooking Lake Winnipisaukee. The pool looked great though we didn't use it. Lots of things to see and do, and places to eat within walking distance, but don't miss the homemade muffins in the lobby in the morning! 24 hour access to coffee, tea, water and fresh fruit was also appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at Lakeview cottages! We stayed in a king size bed cottage and it was perfect for a weekend at Lake Winnipesaukee. We loved the community hangout areas outside of the cottages with the comfy patio furniture. Although we didn’t have time to use it, having a personal grill for each cottage was so cool and our neighbors were grilling up some burgers one night and they smelled so good! The pool was very nice. Loved the string lights on our small shared deck. The fresh muffins and coffee in the lobby in the morning were such a lovely touch! When we were heading out, the owners waved goodbye and thanked us for coming. I can’t speak for the inn at the property— but the cottage was lovely. Just a few minute walk to weirs beach and the strip! Can’t wait to stay again :)

Disappointed, not worth the $ but has potential

Beautiful location, but the cottages need a major upgrade and renovations. There was miscommunication about the check-in process. The room itself has potential, but furniture was old and scratched up, the blinds had broken slats, the AC was older than we are, brown, noisy, and made this loud noise that kept waking us up all night, and the room smelled of intense must or mold. Overall a cute spot and could be really nice, but not worth the money in current state.

Did not realize it was a shared bath and up 2 flights of stairs when we booked. That inconvenience was outweighed by the amazing view, lovely multiple common spaces and the exceptionally gracious staff.

This property is just wonderful !! Will definitely be coming back, and not just for the fresh baked muffins in the morning. We stayed in the main house, but will be trying one of the cottages next time. The pool area and the the front porch and the side area of seating was just gorgeous and the view was amazing

Lake View Inn- Our new annual family vacation!

My family and I just returned for our second annual stay at The Lakeview Inn. We saw the Dave Matthew’s Band for a two night show at the Bank of New Hampshire pavilion. It was a short ride from the cottages. Amazing venue! We all had a blast meeting up with other fans poolside before the shows. The cottages are clean and cozy. Although a few more hooks and shelves inside the cottages would be helpful. The staff was amazing!!! Fresh muffins and coffee available every morning. Grills available at all the cottages. The view of the lake was breathtaking. My daughter especially enjoyed the short walk to the arcade down the street. We will definitely be back next year.
