The New owner is a really amazing person, he goes above and beyond for all his guests. He completely transformed this run down property into some place you can actually look forward to staying at whenever visiting or just needing to get away. This property use to be as bad as they come in Lafayette but due to his competence and his great staff he completely transformed this place into an amazing hotel. There is still some work in progress but from speaking to him things will do nothing but get better here as time goes on. It is also extremely safe in comparison to how it use to be.
Von außen macht er das Hotel gar keinen so schlechten Eindruck. Das hat allerdings getäuscht. Als wir hinein gegangen sind haben wir gemerkt, dass es eine Baustelle ist und gerade renoviert wird.
Die Dame an der Rezeption, die unglaublich lieb und freundlich war und uns auch im weiteren Verlauf sehr viel geholfen hat, hat und eines der "besseren" Zimmer gegeben.
Wir haben unsere Gepäck ins Zimmer gestellt und sind Abendessen gegangen. Als wir zurück kamen kam uns eine Kakerlake entgegen. Im Zimmer befanden sich noch ein Nest mit weiteren Kakerlaken.
Hast du die Dame eine Rezeption darauf ansprachen hat sich herausgestellt, dass es wohl schon öfter Beschwerden wegen Kakerlaken gegeben hat.
Wir sind dann ausgezogen und haben uns in einem anderen Hotel eingemietet.
Der Service der Hotline von Hotels.com hat dem ganzen dann die Krone aufgesetzt überhaupt nicht hilfreich außer man verlangt nach dem Vorgesetzten der Hotline Mitarbeiter.
