Close but no cigar

The floor was extremely dirty leaving my feet black when I walked in.The door stuck badly to the room the screws in the top hinge were backing out or stripped out, causing the door to hang improperly

We had a restfull one night stay. The room was big with the sofa. The breakfast is basic- waffles and scrambled eggs.

A very pleasant stay

Staff at check-in and check-out were present at the counter, which is always a bonus lately. Everyone encountered was very pleasant and professional. Everywhere from the lobby and common areas to the room was clean and well-maintained. Bed was very comfortable, always appreciate not waking up with a backache. Breakfast above average also, a good start to the day.

Everything at that exit seemed like it was worn out. Even the people seemed tired and worn out .. did not feel unsafe but felt worn out, abused and overlooked. Not sure why .. but people can only work with what they are provided with. The staff seemed a bit embarrassed since I guess they knew anyway .. Seemed sad. My only complaint is that I was not allowed to pay for my room with cash .. I had been ran through the system before I checked out of the room. That upset me .. I wish the manager I spoke with had invited me into her office and truly tried to rectify my situation .. but she blew me off and had little to say, other than 'sorry'.

The price and breakfast at the hotel were excellent, and the staff were friendly. However, the entire hotel felt very old—the carpet had a smell, and the bed was dirty, so I had to change the sheets.

We had to stay in a pet friendly room due to traveling with a dog. The room was poorly cleaned with other pets hair throughout. Our pet also picked up fleece either from walking through the grounds or as we entered the room. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade/change over of bedding sheets and covers since the current ones in circulation are way overused. Toiletries like shampoo very not refilled with container completely empty. Our room had a sleeping sofa but we couldn't used it due to mattress being very dirty. The person checking us in in the evening was not very friendly but the morning crew was a lot more responsive and warm. Breakfast choices were satisfactory.
