Pet friendly, but they put us in a handicap accessible room. I thought that was odd. It seems that someone with these needs should get such a room. Otherwise the hotel was good for a single night. Near Avery Island.

Staff and Service are above and beyond!
This was a return trip for us and we were very happy to stay at this Hampton Inn again. The service was excellent. Lachelle at the front desk went above and beyond to deliver incredible service from the time we arrived and throughout our stay. The fellow who serviced breakfast was a truly joyful start to the day, despite never pausing once during his work, serving so many people. We did have a minor maintenance issue and it was resolved that day. We're always very happy at this hampton inn, mostly because of the great staff and service. Thank you for such kindness and care.

It was quiet at the property, besides that my stay wasn’t pleasant as usual because I always stay there when visiting. My day I was without a TV remote and couldn’t turn on the TV and front desk told me they didn’t have extra remotes not to mention the room smelled like smoke and someone left behind a shoe box with a torch lighter and shorts inside of it, which gave the impression the room wasn’t cleaned out properly before it was given to me.
