Location is great for getting around New Iberia. Close to interstate and not far from downtown New Iberia. Staff who cooked breakfast was great. They were friendly and kept breakfast buffet stocked. If you needed anything they were happy to help. Negative was our room was not cleaned during our stay. We were able to get fresh towels but no room cleaning. Thank goodness we are neat travelers

Told one thing, but received another.

I booked a hotel to take my kids swimming. I have family in the area so could have stayed with them for free but decided to book a hotel instead to allow my kids to swim in the hot summer day. I called before booking to make sure that they had a pool that was open and ready to swim safely. They assured me that they did so I proceeded to book. Once I got to the hotel, there was a sign on the door that leads to the pool that stated it was just treated and would be ready by 6 PM. The pool was green and not safe for swimming. We went back to the pool after 7 PM, the note was gone, but the pool was still green. The next morning after breakfast, I proceeded back to the pool area where I found the pool was not ready as it was still green. I checked again later in that evening, no change. On the day of check out after breakfast I checked one more time just to see if my children could swim an hour or so right before checkout. Still could not swim as it was green. Again, the only reason I booked this hotel was for the pool. My family had a place to stay for free as we have family in the area that we were visiting. The only reason I am not giving this hotel a one star is because the staff were very friendly.

Wheater was great, but the pool was very dirty notify the front desk and they said they will let maintenance know. Check the next day and the pool was still dirty. We had a room with a king size bed the pillows were horrible. They didn't have any cushion on them, and they look like pillows from a twin-size bed. The restroom was dirty and the worse part we order some additional towels and got some dirty ones and a couple of them had BLOOD on them. So, check your towels before you use them.

The staff was wonderful! My stay was good but i had minor complaints! I stayed on the 3rd floor... There was a trashcan in the middle of the floor collecting water... Part of the ceiling was uncovered with a big light shining thru... The room had an ordor but like any other hotel i brought my own cleaning and disinfectant supplies. The window seals and underneath was full of grout the bathroom and sink areas was black when i wiped everything with the lysol wipes... The headboard and the top of it was sooo black!

Good hotel…outside of toilet dam near on the ground and the bathroom door needs to be repainted; it was a good place to stay
