I made a confirmed reservation on Expedia for $78.52/night, however when I arrived on 8/17/2025, the hotel insisted that they didn’t have any of my Expedia booking information, I ended up paying $195.99/night, on the spot, almost 250% more. Not sure what's going between Expedia and Motel 6, it is a quite bad customer experience, appears to be a price gorging.

The property was an average Motel 6; it was the only choice when every other hotel in the area was sold out. We needed a place to stay (Purdue Football Weekend), so we went with Motel 6. The room was tidy, yet worn and dirty. The floor had been mopped with dirty water and left to dry. Bugs appeared occasionally, etc. However, the price for the weekend skyrocketed to almost $200 a night!

The floors were absolutly filthy (my blue socks were black on the bottom and my sons legs were filthy within 20 mins ), we did not have any towels in our room, our key stopped working, and shower/bathroom faucets were rusty. One of the front desk staff members was extremely friendly/nice/ great energy but then the front desk staff member the next day was thr opposite :/

Poop stains on the ground and on the walls. No clean towels. Bed sheets were dirty and had holes in them. Smelled like mold. Bathtub did not drain. Everything about this motel was disgustingly unkept.

My 1st room was not cleaned, so I got moved ... And then they assigned my room to another couple that was at my front door trying to get into my room. Very unorganized. I left and did not stay the night.

Very dirty. Was advised to “not clean with the shower towels”. But if the room was cleaned properly I wouldn’t have had to sleep on the “shower” towels.

I had booked a reservation on hotels.com and when I arrived at the motel 6 they told me that there was nothing in their computer about my reservation the woman was rude to me and the funny thing about it is I had called motel 6 seeing if they had rooms which they did so I booked it on hotels.com so I was guaranteed a room hotels.com done there part they booked that room but when I got to motel 6 they said they had no rooms anything stated to me that there was nothing on the computer about my booking with hotels.com and I was forced to go to another hotel spend money I didn't need to spend.

I’m usually not picky when it comes to hotels but this one was…wow. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the smell. We were supposed to be in a smoke free room but the room smelled like smoke. There was a hole punched into the wall and the heaters must have been broken or something because we turned it all the way down and the room was still too hot to sleep. We saw a couple bugs on the wall which isn’t too surprising considering the yellowing and other stains on the pillows. We only stayed because it was too cold to sleep in the car.
