The hotell was perfectly located with a short walk to the beach and a bunch of restaurants. We also had a great view from our room. Will definitely stay here for my next Laguna Beach trip.

Overnight getaway.
The accommodations and location were excellent. Enjoyed morning coffee from the ocean view balcony. Beach access directly across PCH. Great restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a few areas of concern...The check-in process was more involved than expected, requiring an almost intrusive level of providing identification. Additionally, the TV operation required way too much interaction, downloads and fussiness required to simply watch local programming. Once we checked in however, all was good and our stay was quite worth the effort. We'll be back.

Highly satisfied with Sonder!
I had an incredible stay at Sonder La Ensenada in Laguna Beach! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the beautiful beach and close to great restaurants and shops. The room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. I loved the self-check-in process, which was seamless and convenient. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a beach getaway. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the small touches like the quality toiletries and fully stocked kitchen. The staff was friendly and responsive whenever I needed assistance. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to experience the best of Laguna Beach.

Great little place for a short stop in Laguna Beach. The room was huge and we had a nice little balcony with somewhat of an ocean view. The staff were all really nice and helpful. There’s plenty of space in the parking garage and you can walk to some restaurants nearby. The only thing is that the WiFi was pretty weak.

No amenities like room service or snacks and drinks to have. Always started hammering or working on the hotel early in the am. Not very relaxing. States it had a white noise machine but it didn’t. For that price we should have people remove the garbage, wet towels and provide new sheets instead of us have to change it ourselves. This is not a discount hotel where we would expect that.

Overall ok, good location
After 2 nights, we had to change rooms as we could not sleep due to a very loud cricket in the air conditioner. The staff were friendly enough to help us switch rooms, which had a nice little view of the ocean next to the PCH. We did go from a King Bed (new bathroom) to a Queen Bed (old bathroom), but it was ok, better than the first room as we had no natural light coming in. Location was good, easy to walk to nearby coffee shops and straight across the road was the ocean. Downfall - You have to pay for parking downstairs which really should be included in the price of your stay. The carpark was empty! Being international tourists, we parked on the street, finding a free park a block up and ended up getting a $60 parking ticket. Staff were friendly, place was somewhat renovated but still kinda dated.. photos make it look better than it was. Probably paying for the location more than anything.

Disappointed - tired hotel with dirty rooms
The whole place is tired and rundown and desperately in need of renovation. We were disappointed and had expected more. The hotel was reasonably inexpensive but as they provide very little in the way of staff and extras I still expected a clean and well maintained property and, sadly, this was not the case. In addition the air conditioning system was ridiculously loud. So you either got too hot at night or couldn't sleep because of the noise of the air conditioning system.

One of my best stays. I’ve stayed all over the US most of Europe and parts of North Africa. Sonder has a very pleasant model No one’s banging on your door from housekeeping. You park your car and register it with the QR code You let yourself in by launching the electronic key. You fetch your supplies from a credenza in the lobby In the room is a refrigerator, toiletries, tissues, hair blower, iron, ironing board. Extra body lotion in the lobby along with tea and coffee a microwave, packets of plastic utensils. Ice machine near the pool on the third floor. Your room is cleaned before you move in and after you’re out Extra cleaning services can be arranged for a fee.

Trenton checked us in and was especially friendly and helpful. We heard early morning construction, hammering, drilling etc. next to our room, but overall it was a pleasant stay. Staff onsite were gracious and very attentive, providing extra towels and toiletries when needed. We'll be back again.

The overall property was very nice. The air conditioner in our room was fairly loud, even with the earplugs provided by Sonder. There seemed to be a lot of gnats in the sink in our room which was strange. The location is unbearable. Right next to the beach and walkable to a lot of great shops and food.
