We have stayed at the Kaanapali Beach Resort 4 times in the last 3 years and we absolutely love it!! The resort is on one of the best strips of beach in all of Maui. The rooms are (or are in the process of being) renovated. The beds are comfortable. The resort is well maintained. However the absolute best part of the Kaanapali Beach hotel is the people!! The are the absolute best and totally make you feel like this place is your home. I cannot recommend the Kaanapali Beach Resort/Hotel enough. Ernie and Jane

First of all the staff in this property is absolutely amazing. I had some travel hiccups regarding my oncoming flight delays and cancellation that created havoc with plans with my family. I have highest regard and appreciation to the Outrigger’s manager Veronica and Alvin and front desk Helene for accommodating us especially to my daughter. They showed the true island meaning of OHANA! Secondly property is well maintained, pool is nice and clean, beach amenities(for a fee) are available, room was spacious enough with comfortably beds and pillows. There is also ample parking(fee). There are a few food options at the hotel itself-coffee/cafe, deli and Maui brewery Co restaurant. A walkable open air mall with shopping and several dining options is close by. All in all a very satisfying stay! Highly recommend!

Terrific staff, very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed, and plenty of storage. My only suggestion, it would have been nice if the restroom building by the pool would have been available. We will definitely stay there again.

The location and grounds were fantastic and meticulously maintained. The staff friendly and helpful. Though we enjoyed our stay, the cost of the room plus additional resort and parking fees probably makes this a one time visit. This property looked great online, and in reality is really was. It impresses upon driving up the entrance. They keep the doors wide open which gives the large lobby an airy and relaxed atmosphere. Nice lobby. Check-in was pleasant. Our rooms was nice. We walked from the hotel to the road in front of the property which runs along the beach and enjoyed sunset at the beach minutes of walking from the property. We had a drink at the bar by the pool during the evening. It was a pleasant, enjoyable way and place to end our day. Though the staff from the bar were fun and pleasant, it seems they don't have actual bartending training. The guy who waited us didn't know how to make a couple of common drinks we asked for, and neither did the other guy at the bar that he consulted. So we played safe by ordering from the drink list. The drinks weren't mixed correct, though they certainly seemed strong enough. However, that did not dampen our overall happy experience at this hotel and the drinks even gave us something to laugh about.

1st night fridge leeked all over the floor they had to get us a new one. roaches on a daily basis Wife was very upset I believe I should get some of my $$$ back

The only thing I didn’t like was the unexpected fees while checking in & checking out. They should of told us first, I was a little upset because I didn’t have it planned to spend that extra money at the resort

Nice property view of the ocean, walkable dining options, and shopping. Notice a difference in treatment regarding your race. They should treat everyone the same since we are all paying an amount to stay in their resort that’s the only negative experience I had during my arrival after a very long flight and with a child I would have expected a little more empathy and respectful treatment.
