Staff very nice. Clean rooms. Nice linens. Tasty food options throughout the day. Lovely music in the evenings. Great snorkeling a short walk away. Site adjacent to public beach. Pretty pricey at $1K /night (without breakfast). Unfortunately none-resort residents walk the resort, use the resort's bathroom & outdoor shower facilities and pool. Ironically on my last day, one of the staff asked me for my room number when I asked for a towel by the pool- not their practice to ask, it was his way of testing if I was actually staying at the resort, even though I was wearing the Sheridan wrist band. At check-in only orientation given was a pamphlet and was actually 'pointed' in the direction of elevator (not even told it was in the next building). Did give us a nice room. Only upon checkout did I learn a map was available and offered to guests at check-in. Only by chance learned there was a shopping village and host of restaurants a short walk away. Would have been nice to receive a 3 min orientation up front. Had a great view from the balcony; however, the hum of motors/HVAC from across the site was louder than the birds and ocean waves. Pool was nice. Pool walls in visual disrepair in some spots as are some of the pool side cabanas. Nice landscaping. Lovely koi and koi pond. Great place to whale watch. Flight left late at night so after check-out stored luggage with parking attendant (don't know actual position name)- the persons there were SOOOOO very nice!

The rooms are very run down and need remodeling. Motel 6 is a couple of levels better than this. Our friends staying had cockroaches in their room and were told that it is common. The only thing saving it is the great location. Their included breakfast option is weird that it can only be ordered and for buffet you need to pay extra. Why not make it easier and just include buffet. Otherwise great chill and relaxed place. Now too crowded.

This is my 4th stay at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa. I can’t say enough about it. I always ask to stay in the Moana section. It’s the most secluded section of the resort. This section has the most amazing views of the ocean. If you are coming for whale watching season, you can just sit on your balcony and watch in the morning and evening to see them. The rooms were furnished nicely and very clean. This resort is walking distance to Whaler’s village for some great dining. Or it’s a very short drive to Lahaina for dinner at many of the restaurants that have recovered since the fire. If you play golf, you have many choices near the resort. I’ve stayed at two other Ka’anapali resorts, but they do not compare to the Sheraton. You will love it!

Beautiful ocean front rooms and ocean views from these rooms are breathtaking! The room could stand to be updated by replacing carpet, or removing carpet....very outdated. Overall, wonderful stay!

Grounds and location are fantastic. The only complaint I have is the room shower or specifically where the shower head was located. Instead of putting it on the short side of the shower (think rectangle) it was on the long side. That plus a curtain instead of shower door caused water to get all over the floor. To avoid that we took shower handle off and be very arre careful

Great atmosphere. Limited food options on resort. Room was good. Had a nice view. Very much enjoyed the Luau. Would recommend buying a package with free breakfast (we did not). Breakfast buffet is $42 per person each day. A package deal would probably have been cheaper.

Beautiful property, the same place we stayed when we got married in Maui in January 2000. We returned this year to celebrate our 25th anniversary and very much enjoyed our stay. Only downside - we booked Teppan-Yaki Dan for our anniversary dinner - the same as we did for our wedding - only to find that the venue was quite remarkably different than it was back then… a smaller space tucked out of the way. The food was still outstanding and we enjoyed it very much, though we were disappointed that tuna sashimi was no longer on offer - something we especially remembered from our time there so long ago. Understandably, things change in 25 years and all told it was a fantastic experience.

We enjoyed our stay very much!! Mark at the front desk was amazing & very kind. The resort looked so beautiful. Would love to see more healthy options on menu or even a larger choice to choose from. Our room was amazing & our view incredible. We will be back
