The hotel is nice and clean. Ease of checking in and out. Their staff named Terry is awesome. We had a great, fun conversation with her. She is very efficient and helpful. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

A gem in Lake Charles / Sulphur area

This hotel is truly a gem, and one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. My room did not have a blow dryer but I also didn’t ask the front desk. No biggie. However would rate it a 9.8/10 stars because it was very clean, large selection of breakfast, and all amenities needed. And for the price you just can’t beat for the quality. I’ve stayed in some really bad and good hotels in my life, and this one is very very good.

I booked this hotel only because of their great reviews on Booking. They have 9.7 and it is completely fake. I booked one night and came to the hotel around 10pm very tired because I drove from Austin. My room was so dirty. I found hair in the toilet and in my bed. The bed sheets had some ugly yellow stains on them. We also found broken glass on the carpet. I went to the front desk to report this and the lady told me she couldn't give me another room cause they were fully booked. She offered me new bed sheets. While talking to her, another lady was standing next to me who said she could clean my room even though she was not part of the cleaning crew. I don't know who she is but saw her in the kitchen the next morning. Anyway, that lady cleaned our room as much as she could. It was already 11,30pm when she was done. The whole point is that these great reviews on booking are not true. The hotel deserves 3/10 and for cleanness 1/10. I have pictures that show how dirty my room was. I am going to leave the same review with the pictures on booking and Expedia. Very disappointed! Avoid this hotel people, trust me! I travel a lot and this is not 9.7.

We enjoyed our trip to Lake Charles and the Hotel! The front desk lady (forgot her name) was so very sweet and the check in process was so easy. The room was as described, but did have a slight musty smell. I had a rough night sleep as the smell was coming from the A/C unit and was strong. I woke up very congested. When we checked out, the lady (very nice) asked how was our stay. I told her about the smell and she said she would notify maintenance. We will definitely stay here again soon!

The receptionist wasn’t very welcoming, she could have been friendlier The bathroom fan was so loud to the point where we had to use the restroom without turning the light on, the toilet bowl was stained. The air conditioner was super loud The bed was horrible, so were the pillows, way too firm it broke my back. Breakfast was lacking, not enough food put out for the guest, and they were completely out of milk.
