Nice place

Food options: formal dining was great; lunch dining ok. Only real issue with stay was overly soft mattress. Did not sleep well. Great location and nice grounds. Pretty view of boat docks.

Front desk clerk(female) was curt. Also wanted to chrge me $25. more if I checked in before 2:00. I had to change positions of my car at least 3 times because of where the pool was and the clerk denying early check in without an extra fee. She at least could have offered to call when my room was ready....Also my room was ready almost at the time I checked in the first time. I have stayed at the Abbey for at least 30 years. I will not be coming back.

We had an excellent meal at 240 We went to the bar after and it had a 6 foot puddle in the band area no one was cleaned it Customers were talking about it Where was manager?? All furniture outdated Many cement walkways need mud jacking Paint pealing many places Abbey has really gone down

I would never stay here again. We really only needed rooms to sleep but the layout of the property really turned me off and it is not represented as such online. We arrived to full parking so decided to do the complimentary valet which was joke dropping off and picking up. I felt the resort was completely overpriced for what they offer. The journey to my room was a confusing mile-long walk in the basement. Property is understaffed and filled with screaming children. Hard pass.

We stay at the Abbey at least once a year. We really enjoy it but this time thought the price was excessively high as compared to other summer weekends we have visited in the past for the value.
