Location is great, however be aware that if you want a lake view room, which we did, half of the lake side rooms overlook a large and noisy roof. We didn't spend any time on our balcony like we hoped to because of this. The view of the lake behind the roof is very nice, but hard to enjoy with the noise from the utilities on the roof. Staff did what they needed to, but no more and we were not greeted or thanked coming or going. The only restaurant is Italian, and it's very good but having a restaurant offering more varied choices would be nice, especially breakfast. We walked next door to the neighboring hotel restaurant for several meals. Overall, the hotel is fine, but worn. I'm sure it's been very popular over the years because of the location, but our room, especially the bathroom, needed to be updated. We also suspect that our room had had dogs in it by previous guests. We aren't "dog people" and while we certainly support people loving and traveling with their pets, we should not have been able to tell that dogs had been in our room prior to us being there. We choose this hotel for location but we probably would not choose it again. This was our first time to the area. We will know better next time as the Lake Geneva area is lovely for a visit.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the Harbor Shores. It is conveniently located right across the street from Lake Geneva and free parking with a permit which was great. The property is immaculate and was very clean. There is a Gino’s Pizza onsite for an easy lunch or snack at night. In addition, you are conveniently next to the Baker House for fine dining or a quick walk to the shops, many restaurants, and nightlife. Lastly, I suggest getting a room with a balcony for a Lake View for an ultimate experience.

I love this hotel and the wonderful staff who make certain that your stay is “worthy!” I celebrated my 70th Birthday over the weekend and it was endless bliss for the family and I….. I’ve been coming to this hotel for (40) years! I first celebrated my 30th Birthday at Harbor Shores. Now a mere (40) years later I’m still here! We had a ball!

Someone tried to open the door at 1:20 a.m. and started banging on it nonstop. We called the lobby and security came, and, surprise, they don't have security cameras in the hallways. They couldn't give us any information about the incident.

Our check in and check out was incredibly easy. Staff was wonderful. Location could not be beat. Room was beautiful and spacious. Pool was small but we weren't planning on getting in anyways but for people with small kids it might be good to know. Our only small issue was soap and shampoo was hard to wash off. Not water pressure. We would definitely stay here again!
