Lake George is truly a special place for me. I’ve been coming up to lake George for the last 10 years and being able to now share this experience with my mom means everything to me. I love staying at fort William. It is super confident and in between everything we enjoy doing. My family and I always feel safe and the staff are extremely pleasant. The views of the mountain are beautiful whether it’s full of snow or leaves. And who can forget that beautiful view of the lake? Can’t wait to be back in the spring/summer.

I arrived by myself for a 1 night stay. Staff showed to my room. The restaurant staff were super kind and attentive. The room was very nice and clean. I went for a walk in the Village and felt safe while on property and off.

The rooms are nice. They were outdated, but it is an old place. The bathrooms are all remodeled. They forgot to put in a vent fan. The carriage house where we attended a party is a beautiful place however, they don’t know how to run it, for the entire night they only had two bartenders on for over 300 people there was constantly a 25 minute wait to get a cocktail. They need to do better.
