Even though I booked two rooms in same account (booking clearly says two rooms), I was not allotted connecting rooms or the rooms were not even on the same floor when we are family with a toddler. The room was smelling upon entrance as someone with pets was given this room before. The door had a substantial gap that the light was was so bright coming through the gaps which did not allow us to sleep well. The toilet tissue holder was broken and we had to hold the tissue in our hand.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Lake George, when we visited Lake George for 4 nights. We were impressed with the rooms and customer service from Sarae, Kristen and Robert. The hotel is clean and has been newly renovated. We love the complimentary breakfast, pool hot tub and we spent almost every night outside by fire pit area.

There were many things wrong with place. The bathroom was so small that you had to step in the shower to open the door. This was supposed to be a king suite; but it was very compact. The TV was on the wall, but the bed was on the right wall & the sofa was on the left wall. The TV had to be angled to see it. Breakfast was terrible & we went to a restaurant. Our 2 night there were expensive & definitely not worth it.

The hotel looked even better in person. The room and property were clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly. We stayed in a room with a terrace and enjoyed the great view to the mountains. We appreciated the beauty of the hotel location, surrounded by lush trees and on high grounds. Peaceful and relaxing yet close to all the sites from Lake George village. Loved the pool and hot jacuzzi!
