Rotten stay don’t go.

I rented a room for my husband and I and a suite for my daughters and their partners. Our room was clean but stunk. They never came and cleaned our room or brought us clean towels or anything else. My daughters got in after midnight and their room was dirty and the shower was clogged. We spoke to the front desk and they assured us it would be clean. It was never cleaned properly and when we complained they gave my daughter attitude and asked what they needed. They brought sheets and expectated my daughters to put them on. The people that work there look like there are meth heads.

Just for convenience

The room was very dated… no closet. 1 of the TVs didn’t work.. there are no vending machines onsite. We ask for housekeeping and they never came.. When I called to ask why, they said housekeeping was gone for the day.. this was around 5:30pm.. the only plus is that this place is near lake. Right outside your room.. you lay for accessibility not the accommodation

Out of all the hotels, I absolutely loved the one I stayed at. The private ramp is super convenient - you can just leave your boat right at the water’s edge or even in front of your room. That way, you can save time and just relax and enjoy the view. And the bar staff is really friendly too. The lady who works there on weekends is super charming and always has a great attitude.

The pool was nice, but the rooms were dirty, they are in need of repairs. We stayed on the beachfront side and the people trashed the beach/lawn every night. We would wake up with the trash cans overflowing with food and birds/bugs all over. The staff did come and clean but the people were not respectful of the place. It was also very loud. We were on the ground level and the people above us were running around the room at 2am everynight. We had to call the front desk. We ended up getting a stomach bug our last day and that sums up the cleanliness of the room.

This property has fantastic location but it is very run down. We stayed the same week that they hosted a church camp and the kids had priority over the property and they were very loud. We had kids above and below and complained several times. It’s unfortunate that we paid full price but had to put up with so many in consciences.

The rooms were ok. The bathroom was not very clean when we checked into our room so I bought cleaning products and cleaned it. Other than that it was wonderful. I do feel that if you are staying there there should be easy convenient parking close to your rooms if you have a paper you are placing in your window. We left to get some groceries and those that spend the day there were lined up in the morning to park close to the water and we had to park so far with groceries. It’s good to know for next trip if thats where we decide to stay. I do like the fact there is a lot of security. We left to eat dinner bc the restaurant was very expensive and we waited over an hour at a table and never got our food. We ended up leaving. The resort it self was absolutely wonderful otherwise. The front staff was wonderful and very helpful.
