Desk clerk lady was rude and wouldn’t rent me the room after disagreement of $50 charge for my 10lb dog that stays in his crate when in hotels. Had to request a refund from Expedia and found a room next door with no pet deposit.

We paid extra to check in 2 hours early. The room was not well kept, the area was unsafe and dirty. We got a room with 1 king bed and the sheets were dirty, i called to the front desk to let them know but they said they were clean but they just have some stains that won't come off, ok then throw them and replace them. The mattress had cigarette burns, the toilet chain was broken and inside the toilet tank was disgusting. The latch lock on the door was broken off. The AC unit from the inside was leakibg from the bottom that made that whole side of the carpet drenched. When i took off my shoes on tgat side my socks were soaked. In the drawer of the nightstand there were 2 dirty q tips. I called about maybe changing to a different room and all they had were doubles, went to go see one but the beds are not even doubles they are twin size beds. Never had I seen 2 twin size beds instead of double beds. The towels were old and dirty looking. As soon as I checked in they told us the tvs were not working and hadn't been working for some time now and they didn't know until when. The outside premises very dirty, no maintenance around at all, trash everywhere. The pictures from the website of the rooms are nothing at all how they really look. I have always stayed at La Quintas and this one by far is the worse one hands down. The curtains also had hole from cigarette burns

Arrived and no one was at the check in desk for over 30 minutes. Lobby was hot with no AC, and smelled horrible. Checked in ...Parking lot was shady, with shady people walking around. Pool was closed and was covered with a black cover. Arrived into my room, OMG... terrible! I said to myself " I am NOT staying here" left the room card on the dresser and left. Got a much better, safe hotel down the street.

Worse stay ever
When we arrived they told us that the tv was out which wasn’t a big deal. As we got to our room the floors were covered in sand the bed didn’t have the right frames so when we finally laid down the beds fell breaking one of the box spring when it got dark we realized that all the light didn’t work just to find out that all the wire to the light were cut when we went to the office to get a room change they moved us to the next one just to have the toilet not work and the microwave to no have a tray so it would cook our food and there was still sand on the floor

The staff was great. The room did not look like in did in the pictures on line. The place overall was pretty run down. Stained sheets, paint peeling walls, dirty molding etc. each day when I returned to my room I had to have my room card reset because it wouldn’t work. Cable was out so no tv most of my stay. And the internet was very sporadic. I definitely will never stay here again!

Not the La Quinta you'd expect
Pictures attached to this hotel are not of this La Quinta! Very deceiving. First thing, light didn't work. TV had to be connected manually each use. Phone didn't work. No knob on inside of bathroom door. If it closed you couldn't open it to get out. Carpet was stained and dirty. Tub seam very moldy. Breakfast included?? No food except 1 container that looked like cheerios cereal. Some bread but a dirty toaster. No butter or jams. Nothing hot like the pictures show. Waffle maker was very gross. Can only imagine what the batter container must be like. 3 yogurts and some wayery milk. 1 carafe of coffee but NO sugar or cream. I will however have to say the staff was friendly.

I thought our stay was great untill I was told I couldn't make anymore reservation for my say any longer that if I want to extend my stay I would need to do so with the front desk . So I then ask why and I got no answer really just that if I would like to extend my stay any further I would have to do so at the front desk. I asked if they would match the price that I've been receiving online and I was pretty much told no. I wanted to then book my stay online and I was told no. we had been staying there for well over two weeks and all of a sudden they want me to pay $100 pet fee for my husband's service dog which they knew about she swears she new nothing about him but every time we've stayed there in the past or this past two weeks they have always known we had an animal and they've always known he's with us all the time is my husband's service dog. They argued with me about not knowing but sees me every day walking him .. there sine says service animal excluded from pet fee. I was not paying that after two weeks of being there so she said to check out tomorrow and not come back. I can't understand why what did I do wrong she then said get it through my thick skull or head to check out tomorrow and don't come back here. My only reason is because I was extending my stay online for cheeper rates. Rant over .. house keeping was great

Appliances ( microwave and refrigerator) and TV did not work. Only bathroom linens were 2 towels. Roaches throughout. Blood on side of bed. Filthy carpet! Slow responses from hotel staff. A new room was promised but never delivered. Generally any communication with front staff went without appropriate responses.
