Hotel is very dated. Needs to be renovated. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Bed was cozy but overall vibe was very tired and well-used space awaiting a fresh rehab.

I booked this property hoping for AC and a hot shower after Hurricane Helene destroyed our small town. Upon arrival to our room, the toilet was still dirty, hair in the shower, and what appeared to be drops of blood on the floors. I went to the front desk and requested a refund. Someone went to clean the room while I was speaking with the front desk. However, when I got back to the room to pack our belongings, it appeared that she had only flushed the toilet and mopped the floor. There was still hair all over the shower. Very disappointed.

The location is the only good thing about this place, the lake is beautiful the inside needs work. First I recommend putting candles in the lobby it smells like something died and putting plug in fresheners in the hallways. 2nd it wasnt very clean, there was no bed bugs but the sheets in our room were dirty with obvious stains we brought extra blankets so we used those. 3rd the staff was a bit rude the friendliest was the black man who worked overnight, he was really nice, but the older manager and blonde woman werent very friendly. 4th the breakfast needs work the eggs and bacon tasted off the rest was good, plenty of choices. Also be prepared theres not much in this town its a desert. I opted to not extend my stay and instead went to another hotel.

This was a disgusting hotel. The entirety of the room was dirty. The bed had horrible stains. Smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty. Trash on the floor. There was hair on the bathroom floor from previous stays. The toilet was dirty, hadn’t been cleaned recently. It was incredibly disappointing and we had to go to another hotel because it was so gross.

We came for a wedding in the area, The Lodge was close to the venue and made it an easy drive. If you’re coming from Atlanta on a late flight make sure to call or book through them instead! The day rolled over by the time we drove through the storm and the GM was able to get it resolved for us. It was an eventful weekend but the staff was great & beyond helpful! Very pretty setting & great breakfast options. Would recommend :)

My family stayed here during hurricane helene. The staff was genuinely friendly (even the cleaning ladies!) and the lodge was clean, variety of vending, and there was a lake behind the lodge that was relaxing.

This hotel is gross. Our bathroom was disgusting and there is an unclean smell in the hotel. We live 2hrs away and after being in the room for 5 minutes decided to get in the car and drive home.
