The staff and the furnishings of the room could not have been better! The only drawback was the construction that is being done on part of the building. It took away from the appearance especially when you first arrived. We have no doubt it will be a five-star rating when that construction is done. The attention to detail is amazing!

We pick this place for a weekend getaway and couldn't have picked better. It's location is excellent, right next to the entrance to white face mountain and there are several places to eat and shop a short walk away. Above all else, the staff was fabulous. This is a place that is being rejuvenated and has more of a bed and breakfast than a motel feel. Someone was always there or nearby to answer questions and deal with any needs you might have. The room itself was a good size very clean and comfortable and the bed was superb. We absolutely would go back there again.

Wonderful place to stay in the Adirondacks for a couple nights. Our room had been fully renovated recently and was great. They are in the process of renovating another section of the lodge currently but this had no impact on our stay. Nice, quiet community close to many of the sights we wanted to see in the Lake Placid area.

A memorable getaway in the ADK

We had an amazing stay at Adirondack Spruce Lodge! From check-in, Keith, the manager, made us feel truly welcomed. His warm personality and thoughtful attention to guests made the whole experience stand out. Almost every evening, weather permitting, he had a fire going outside, which became a highlight—bringing people together to relax, connect, and enjoy stargazing in the beautiful Adirondacks. Keith went above and beyond in every way, from sharing great local recommendations to ensuring the lodge felt inviting. His welcoming presence is a big reason guests want to return year after year. The lodge itself was just as advertised—our room was clean, comfortable, and matched the photos exactly. Having a grill onsite was super convenient, and being able to cook, then sit by the fire under the stars, made for such memorable evenings. We can’t recommend Adirondack Spruce Lodge enough. Thanks to Keith’s hospitality and the cozy atmosphere, we look forward to coming back!
