Wonderful Motel in Wilmington, NY (Whiteface Mountain) with updated casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and an onsite restaurant and bar that provide delicious, thoughtful, and farm fresh cuisine and cocktail, mocktail, beer, cider, and wine options. The newly renovated double room included a mini fridge, free wifi, flat screen TV with cable, and air conditioning, among other amenities. The motel is dog friendly (call ahead to ensure room is pet friendly and pay small pet fee). 1 minute drive/6 minutes walk to downtown Wilmington and about 20 minutes from Lake Placid. Other onsite amenities include a communal kitchen, ski tuning room, outdoor fire pit, seating areas (covered and uncovered), community grille, and weekend breakfast buffet (try the muffins). Just a few minutes drive to local hiking spots. Adirondack Chocolate and Gift Shop is just around the corner accessible via sidewalk. Would Highly Recommend 10/10

The outdoor area was beautiful, we especially loved the fire pit! The room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful with any needs. We also really appreciated the amount of towels we had in our room, with a family of 6 we usually always have to ask for more towels, but this place gave plenty (10 towels!). There is a beautiful beach right down the road, with a playground and kayak rental. We walked, it was about 14 minutes, but would have been only a 5 minute drive! I highly suggest going!

I loved everything. The ease of parking right outside of your room. The grounds were so pretty at night, kit up and a real fire pit. It was peaceful. Shelly and her staff were always available with any questions. I ate dinner the 1st night there and it was delicious and welcoming. I even extended my stay a night. I booked it to see the Olympics ice skating championships which was just a 15 minute drive. There really isn't anything around there to eat or shop so just got to Hannafords ahead of time.

A nice place, with nice people in a nice location

Wonderful Food, including bfast, comfortable bed. Small but nice. The people were sooo friendly. Just give your shower a little time to temp stabilize and enjoy.

Beautiful, nice lodge but the area has no amenities and nearby food options. You can not door dash unless you are prepared to eat at the lodge dining area only. Otherwise it was a very nice, pleasant experience with no issues.

Room was Clean and Bathroom clean . Shower is clean but a bit strong lol . Staff is very nice and Friendly . Setting is easy for cyclists to head up whiteface mountain . I spent only two nights and did not take advantage of any other amenities . Outdoor bbq available .

We were in the area for a ski competition and have truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We felt totally at home. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The room had a great entrance with a cubby for ski gear and bags as well as a boot tray for wet shoes. The breakfast was deliciously homemade. We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was so good it felt like we had a home cooked meal.

We had a great time staying at Cadence Lodge. It is very close to Whiteface Mountain for skiing. It was a super cute room, and it was convenient to have a refrigerator and a coffee machine. They also have a shared kitchen with an oven, microwave, cooktop etc. We ate at the restaurant on a Sunday evening, and the food was excellent alongside the drinks and service. I loved the vegetarian options. We would have eaten there on Monday/Tuesday if they had been open. Overall, it is an excellent place to stay.

Great location, very close to Whiteface and lots of hiking trails. We stayed here as they are Dog friendly. Check-in and out was easy and it was great to have a restaurant on site after a day of adventures. Get the Pork chop!

We had a great weekend starting with Shelley's warm welcome. Breakfast was very good, not a huge choice, but sufficient. The room was clean and well decorated with an après-ski cabin atmosphere. Just minutes from Whiteface Mountain. I absolutely recommend.
