All good except that room 401 near noisy elevator all night. Too tired to try to switch rooms late at night. Mentioned it to front deck but they did not even offer a free donut. Nevertheless crown plaza at lake placid is good at all criteria.

We have a good time stayed in this hotel. Beautiful property and easy access to walk around. Room was spacious and there is outdoor seating. The swimming pool was very nice with hot tub. My family and I very satisfied with this hotel. I just need the staff to add my points for my IHG, the front desk said they won’t be able to do because I was doing my reservation through expedia. I hope the manager can help me to resolve this problem. Overall I give 10/10!!

The view from our room was great! Our morning coffee on the balcony watching the sun rise was great! Lots of spiders on the balcony though. The room was “mostly” clean, the bathroom had some squashed bugs on the walls. The jetted tub was clean and worked great. Nice big shower as well. The location was nice walking distance to everything but you definitely need to be prepared for the walk back up hill. Most of the vending machines were broken so it can be a bit of a walk depending on your room location to get a snack in the middle of the night. Had a very drunk person yelling in the middle of the night that was a bit rude, not the hotels fault. Also the power went out at some point in the middle of the night so good thing I wasn’t relying on the alarm clock, but with that it reset the AC unit so the room got very warm. Overall it was a nice experience but a bit expensive.

Great location with amazing views of Mirror Lake. Comfotable outdoor area with chairs and a fire pit. Nice indoor area for dining. Decent menu, wines could be more exciting. Cayaking is an option also at no charge. The hotel is higher end in rates but the overall amenities need an update. Out of 4 elevators only 1 was working, the furniture needs updating, and the rooms, hallways need updating. Overall great experience.

We were in Room 401. The room overlooking Mirror Lake and was breathtaking. Complimentary water and coffee available in restaurant on main level. Would have been nice to have that information relayed at check in, we found out by accident. The pool had way too much chlorine but it is definitely big and beautiful with a nice quiet area with big windows to enjoy the view. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms quiet even though we saw a lot of dogs in and around the hotel. Love the location. It is within a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants and the Olympic museum and speed skating rink.

Older property, carpets smell on moist. Bathtub slow drain. Until you get shower you have 6” of water inside the tub. Definitely not wort of $350.00 per night.
