One of my favorite spots to stay in the ADKs. Fun quick walk into placid while having a secluded elevation from the downtown and amazing nearly 360 mountain views

Our first room was awful! Mold in the shower and then the shower head burst and drenched the whole bathroom. Drapes not all hung by their hooks. Goose poop all over the patio floor. Sagging mattresses. Second room…sagging mattresses, certain areas had never been dusted. Bathroom towel racks coming out of wall as was the thermostat. I could go on and on…

This hotel is so beautiful. My second time there. The facilities are beautiful (just wish the pool floor area wasn’t so slippery). Extremely gorgeous views all around and we LOVED the pillows. If I could buy one, I would!

great location overlooking Mirror lake and surrounding mountains. Our room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and I love the choice of pillow firmness! Air/heat was quiet - a must for a hotel room, and coffee/tea and water was available all day long.
