Room was decent and clean. We loved the quiet and peaceful surrounding of this place. Neighborhood was fun to walk and explore. Definitely staying here again

Good Option for South Tahoe
Great location less than one block from the Heavenly gondola and reasonably clean rooms with no strange smell. Overall, this hotel is a great option for the lower cost hotels in South Tahoe that are frequently terrible. The blinds need maintenance as they do not close properly. Need better instructions on how to use cable TV. Front desk could not figure it out, but the cleaning staff helped me.

It was alright
This place was alright. it was good for an average stay, from being out in the cold all day it was so nice to have the room warm. the shower was a bit of an issue. cold water would run even when u would just use hot water handle but then outta no where hot water would appear. it was clean as much as it could be, no mess and everything was good.

Worst experience, very old worn carpet, furniture, everything, smells of mold, minimum amenities in the kitchen, broken oven, wifi does not work, very dirty everywhere. Bad service, impossible to change dates. Horrible experience!!! The only plus is the location. Do not recommend!

The property is completely torn apart. The TV did not work, we got switched to a different room, the window shades were broken so people could look in the window at all times, we had to put a towel over the window so no one could see in. The floor was rotted underneath and it felt like we were going to fall through. The sink and toilet were leaking. You could hear every conversation through the walls and not to mention the walking above you all night. I would rate this negative starts if I could, this place should not be operating.

Big pines is a good place to stay in Tahoe. It is walking distance from casino and beach. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were nice and cozy. We will surely be back .

He checked into this hotel by phone where our keys were placed in a black box outside the office. Walking into the room it was just as cold as being outside. We noticed right away that the side lights in the nightstands were not working. When i tried to plug them in the ends of the cords were cut off. The light fixture mounted on the wall in the room started flickering nonstop! when we tried using the hot tub (which is the main reason we reserved this room) the water was coming out brownish so we drained the tub and ran the water and it looked fine. Once the jets started rolling there was a brown residue on top of the water. We heard jumping upstairs above us and noticed white stuff falling down from the ceiling onto the bed and floor. This place was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed in. From dirty walls, holes in the bathroom walls, this place was absolutely disgusting!
