Last minute decision to go to Tahoe and booked here. There is no front desk to check in with, everything is done via text and online which was nice. You retrieved your key from a lock box towards the front of the building. Solo female traveler and I felt a little unsafe here. The hotel is in need of some TLC. It was summer time and the linens were extremely hot! Air conditioning went on and off all night so it would wake me when it went back on and I would go from freezing to really hot. Bathroom, shower and sink were tiny. I guess that is pretty common in places like this in Tahoe. Overall it was a place to sleep. I've gone back since and did not opt to stay here again.

It's budget and did the job

This hotel did the job. This is a basic motel with car parking and beds and good cable TV. It's old and could use a renovation. Staff was friendly and it was nice to have a morning coffee in the office before heading out, although the coffee wasn't available until 9am. Thankfully the room wasn't too cold overnight as the heater was turned off for the summer. Across the street from a small public beach and a fun tiki bar.

Not what was advertised

I rarely ever cancel a stay, but I had to here. The room was unsanitary, and the condition of the property raised safety concerns. The door didn’t close or lock properly, with visible daylight coming through the large gap. The table fan was bolted to the side of the wall, and overall, the space did not feel secure or comfortable. The parking situation was also VERY tight. I have a small car, but I wouldn't bring a truck anywhere near there. I would caution anyone considering this property—it is not what I would consider a safe, sanitary, or comfortable place to stay.

It was clean ,close to stores ,nice quiet area the only downside it’s that it not a walking distance to the casinos but a very short drive .
