The location of the property was right under the gondola ride and just in the center of everything. Easy to walk and close to shopping and eating. The property was older and could use some updating but I know that takes money. We did enjoy the stay overall.

Managers Special Cabin in the woods edition.

The room was a nice size with a kitchen, which was great. The downsides are the room smelled like cigarette smoke and axe body spray. We had to open the windows to let some fresh air in. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and gave my husband and I back aches the next morning. The continental Breakfast is subpar and parking in the apartment turned hotel was a nightmare.

We stayed in one room as a group of 7 people, and we had an absolute blast!! This hotel is amazing. The room was clean, comfy, and spacious. We really enjoyed the free breakfast, as well as the little goodies like the smores kit. We originally planned to spend the evening in the hot tub, thinking the pool would be too cold, but the pool was actually very warm, and we ended up having a little “pool party” too! The staff were super friendly, polite, and professional. They even offered us a big discount to stay for a second night, so of course we extended our trip! It was such a fun experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this hotel. The only small downside was that the hot tub splashes water everywhere, which was a bit uncomfortable, but other than that, no complaints at all!

Family Friendly Resort

Family trip to South Lake Tahoe. Excellent location, within walking distance to Heavenly Village. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. Room was very large and comfortable. Tasty breakfast included. They be had S’mores for the family to roast in an outdoor fire pit. Areal rest for the kiddos. We had the best time. Highly recommend the Forest Suites.

Good place especially for family. Spacious rooms, plenty toiletries in bathrooms. Nice deep pools plenty rstrooms n towels for pool areas. Walking distances to good times n days. My kids grew up staying here.

This location was perfect for the event I attended. And very accommodating to my dog. The suite was very clean and felt like a home away from home. I thoroughly wnjoyed the clean pool and hot tub as well. Plus the shampoo and conditioner provoded smells phenomenal.

The property is outdated and there are no elevators so if you have a bad knee or back, tough luck! We had to carry our bags upstairs and it was very unpleasant. It was pricey for the type of service we received. There was also an employee in one of the rooms taking a break before we arrived which showed me there is no communication between the staff. It was beautiful outside and walking distance to pretty much everything. The breakfast was good too, I just wish they had elevators to accommodate those who have a lot to carry.

Enjoyed our stay

Really great location for all types of activities and nightlife. Lots of dining options. Hotel comp breakfast is good with many choices from cereal, toast, bagels, yogurts and eggs, sausage and hash browns. If climbing stairs is hard for a person I would suggest booking a room in the buildings that have elevators. Rooms are spacious and kitchens have everything, plus apartment size refrigerator, etc. The king bed was very uncomfortable and needs to be updated for sure. Pillows were good and bedding was adequate for summer for sure. The room had been renovated and the furniture and flooring were nice and clean. The property is older but the grounds are kept nice.
