This hotel is amazing. We've been trying out new hotels in the Tahoe area for the past year as the Hyatt has become...well overpriced with little amenities. The Martis Valley Lodge hit's the spot. Between Truckee and the lake, quiet, clean BEAUTIFUL ROOMS and well priced. I was slightly irritated with the $24 breakfast and the $20 per night parking fee...but hey, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Can't wait to return. Very friendly staff.

There was a banging sound every now and then throughout the night, I think it was from the AC/heater below the window, but not sure. Sporadic so couldn't figure it out, so did not sleep well at all.
