It's a good place to sleep while you're skiing, but not a good place to relax and enjoy the resort, the place is not kept, it's noisy at night, mainly from the plumbing or something.... would not recommend this place.

Nice stay. However, very unhappy about being hit with a cleaning fee at checkout. We already paid $630 per night and then they add a cleaning fee to make it $740 per night. It's nice, but it's not worth that.

The Property was not maintained we spent two full days working with staff to make unit habitable. Tim @ Heavenly Village Condos said he was going to work with Marriott to help with compensation nothing transpired. We had to leave the property and eat at Fire and Ice all in the party had food poisoning. I paid full price for accommodations. I should have charged for my time facilitating maintenance and cleanup. Carson Unit manager was hard to reach and did not reconcile our bill accordingly. I will say unit 4103 is now in tip top shape due to my wife and I and Guy the maintenance supervisor. Heavenly Village Condos and Marriott should provide a full refund.

Recommended for family vacations. Spacious, plenty of room and beds. Has view of the pool and partial view of the Heavenly gondola. Few nit picking items, there are a total of only three garbage bins in the unit, 1 each bathroom and 1 in kitchen (minus master bedroom and bath which was not included in rental). The trash bins in the included two bathroom can be bigger. There are no garbage cans in the other rooms and no recycling bin in the kitchen. Cleaning service is only on the last day. Otherwise nice place to stay.

The people who work there are very nice! Pool is beautiful! We liked the security of the place, needed a key to enter everything, elevator, pool etc. Did not like the remote control to the main tv in the room. It was a pain to use, very slow! We didn't use the bedroom tv so don't know if it was the same. I missed having a bigger frying pan, room only had a little one. We had a wonderful stay!

The Grand Residence is South Lake Tahoe was originally- a residence, where one could purchase 12 weeks or more at a time. Now it's a Marriott time share, and it's a block away from their other timeshare, Timber Lodge. The Grand Residence has a pool, hot tube, and a surprisingly good work out room, but it's not a resort with a bar, restaurant, or daily activities. It's quiet. no music at the pool. The rooms are large, and the full kitchen has modern appliances and is well appointed. One can walk a block to multiple restaurants, to the Heavenly Gondola, and it's perhaps 3-4 blocks to the casinos.
