Hotel Elevation was clean, comfy, and super close to all the Tahoe action. The staff made us feel welcome. Perfect spot for a laid-back stay without the high price tag!

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!

I paid over $200 and this place is a run down former super 8 motel, not a hotel. The carpet was stained, the walls were patched and not painted/fixed. There is no staff but rather someone who appears to live there. No hair dryers. Ice machine and bucket were disgusting. This place is awful and should not even be listed on hotels.com. DO NOT GET A ROOM HERE!

Sketchy hotel, fire exit door won't open

I did not stay here because I did not feel safe when I tried to go out the fire exit door next to my room and it jammed. In addition, there were no rooms available that had windows looking out onto the parking lot-- I wanted to be able see my car. I requested a refund, but the manager refused. Hotels.com understood why I felt unsafe and gave me a credit for the value of what the motel charged me.

Great breakfast place right next-door and fantastic location close to the lake. When we checked in, there was two dogs barking in the room next-door. Staff moved us to a different room with no problem. When we got to the new room, the smoke alarm was beeping and for some reason the alarm went off at 4 AM in the morning and then again at six. Despite this, I’d probably stay here again due to price and proximity to lake

Property photos and description weren't representative of my visit. The facility was old, sidewalks in poor condition, room condition ok, but small bath with small shower. Staff needs customer service training. They only provide a room. House keeping or any service had to be requested.

Extremely dirty and disgusting. Looked at 3 rooms because we were told we could not receive a refund. One room had disgusting bathtub. Another the lights didn’t even work and another the floor was gross. 0/10.

I apologize in advance since I don’t really like leaving negative feedback but this hotel needs a lot of cleaning and updating. I honestly didn’t expect a lot when I booked my room here, only because I did look at the reviews before I made my reservation. I was still disappointed, though. It was worse than what I expected. The room was so outdated and felt dirty. The location is pretty good but I would rather have a clean and comfortable room when on vacation. Good thing we only needed to stay there for one night because we had another reservation at another hotel for the rest of our stay in Lake Tahoe.

When we arrived, the property had trash in the parking lot and there was a van with a windows busted out. Then when I went to check in no one was at the front desk just a paper that said call number for assistance. Then when we went in to the room there was signs that there was a lot of sheet rock repairs within the room and the bathroom, it was never painted. The shower head was spraying out from the side, and the toilet seat was dirty. Also the microwave that was in the room was burnt and rusted. And the window was falling off the frame. But the beds were very nice
