Stayed in the annex. Super nice staff, very cool vibe. Was there for my cousin’s wedding so didn’t get to hang out at the little bar at all but will next time. Friends who were through-hiking the PCT highly recommended and they were right.

This hostel is in a great location and has easy parking. It's very clean. The host, Michael, was fantastic -- a great gjuy and a credit to the Redlight (and humanity).

Great for a hostel. Know what you're getting
It's a hostel and I opted for the bunk because it's the most affordable option in Truckee. Its a good deal and nice people there. It's my 3rd time staying there and love the building. I was able to work in the bar area in the morning and noone was awake so I could do my work and drink my coffee in peace. It's walking distance to everything in downtown Truckee. Their bar is great too. No complaints from me for the affordability. Next price up in Truckee is over $3 bills a night.

Great hostel in Truckee
This was my first stay, but probably not my last. Great location, great price, great place if you just need a chill place to sleep vs a resort! Nothing fancy, but it was comfortable and suited my needs. The other guests were friendly and they even have a sauna.

Didn't stay at this place. Didn't like it. No tv in the room and the small room was near the bar. People check in at the bar. The entrance is from the bar. Awful! We ended up going to a better place.
