The Landing Resort & Spa offers 88 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature fireplaces and iPod docking stations. Great location, amazing staff, and super dog friendly! As a guest you get passes to access the private beach across the street which was super convenient not only because we walked out our patio door on to the beach but because literally all of the other beaches in the area were packed with full parking lots. The hotel provides a free shuttle (also dog friendly) to anywhere downtown. We had a gas fire pit on our patio and they provided smore kits for our daughter. We will definitely be staying here again!

I was looking for a hotel in the area that was dog friendly and this hotel came recommended. The property itself is really nice and the staff was really friendly. They are very dog friendly which was great and even gave my pup some toys upon arrival. My room was having a plumbing issue when I arrived but they gave me a spare room for us to get ready in until our room was ready. This was really above and beyond. However, when we did get to our assigned room the plumbing issue was still there - the sink water came out milky white... For a luxury resort and spa the room was only ok. I paid more for the garden view which had a balcony but only one chair for 2 guests so we couldn't even enjoy the balcony. Every other balcony seemed to have 2 chairs so I don't know why ours only had one. The heated bathroom floors & toilet seat cover were a nice touch though in the bathroom. The property is right on the lake. There are a few nice seating areas around the property which is nice. They also offer a free shuttle into town (it's a 15 minute walk if you don't want to wait for the shuttle). The one big negative - and it's not the hotel's fault - they are right down the street from a concert arena which blasted loud music until 11pm each night and it literally sounded like it was right outside our front door. If noise bothers you don't stay here. While it's a nice hotel I think it's overpriced for what you get and there are better options.

This was a wonderful property with great views of Lake Tahoe and within walking distance of Heavenly Village. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and I loved the decoration.

Had a nice and quiet stay, exactly what we went for! The view from balcony was beautiful and breath taking! Loved the heated toilet seat! There is some distance between the property and the beach unlike the photo shows but still great. The parking spaces could be more but was not a problem. It would be nice to provide beach access for all people staying in room, lol! If you have some welcome stuff for guests, let them know. Overall nice experience, will come back again.
