We have stayed at The Landing in summer 2019. Our stay was much different.
First, they had also booked a wedding the day that we checked in. Due to lack of rooms, our first room was ground floor with a window AC unit, so you couldn’t open the windows, which was fine because it was a view of the parking lot.
After going back & forth with the staff, and being able to secure another room at another resort, they changed our room.
This room was better, but was not clean. I had to request several times to have housekeeping to wipe down the leather chairs (they had mystery white stuff on them) and to clean the sticky bathroom floor, I did it myself on Day #3. Also, the shower tiles were cover in pink lime scum.
The resort needs some updates and a face lift for sure. When you’re charging over $5k for a week, for a room, expectations are higher. At a bare minimum the room should be clean.
A last surprise on the bill was $30 parking fee per day to park my car in their parking lot.
Next time we’ll choose a different property, but location is ideal and walkable.
